Alistair Memorial walk, 23 May 2026
Glorious weather for the 14 Merthyr Valley Ramblers (including welcome guests Helen and Amie) at Llanfoist on Alistair’s 7.5 mile memorial walk today. A simple walk, along the trackbed to Gilwern station then across the A470 to the canal then back to Llanfoist along the towpath. Beautiful weather, happy memories and great company made an otherwise ordinary walk special. Thanks to all for coming.
