Today, 10 enthusiastic ramblers, led by the wonderful Rob and Morfydd, embarked on a 6-mile journey known as the Bwlch Moorland Ramble. Unlike our usual circular routes, this was an “out and in” adventure. Starting from the layby on Tremynfa Road, we began our climb under threatening skies. But as the day progressed, the weather brightened, rewarding us with the stunning views we had hoped for. Following The Beacons Way, we reached the trig point at Mynydd Llangorse, where we were greeted by breathtaking panoramic views. The weather turned in our favour, making the experience even more magical. We retraced our steps, stopping for a delightful lunch amidst a sea of winberries, before returning to our starting point. It was a day filled with camaraderie, nature, and pure enjoyment!
