Clydach gorge ramble, 3 October 2026
A lovely, lovely walk to celebrate the start of October today. Expertly led by Morfedd, the 13 lucky ramblers (including welcome visitors Mike, Pat & Dave) started off in brilliant sunshine along the trackbed. After passing through the Cwm Clydach nature reserve, we climbed steadily to Gellifelen where we had our first cuppa. We continued upwards to Danycoed where we slowly descended to the trackbed and lunch. It was then on past the two pairs of tunnels, under the new bridge and back to the start. Great weather, great walk and great company - perfect
