Twelve lucky ramblers (including good friends Catrin, Lynne, Caroline, Jill and Andrew) met in bright sunshine at the parking lot in Taf Fechan Forest. We climbed steadily passing the empty upper Neuadd reservoir to where we had coffee at the bottom of Cribyn. We then began the climb to the top of Cribyn at 795 meters where we lunched overlooking Brecon. It was also great to see so many people out walking and cycling. We then took the opposite route down the other side of Cribyn where we joined the Beacons Way, watching a hang glider landing in the cleft between Cribyn and Pen Y Fan as we walked. We rejoined the Roman Road and then made our way past the reservoir to our cars. A simple walk with spectacular scenery well led by Martina and with the usual great company.
