Today a group of 9 ramblers and 4 dogs on a 5 mile walk around Fan Fawr and to the Beacons Reservoir. Frosty ground conditions with ice and a cold wind at the summit of Fan Fawr. After visiting the trig point, we descended down to the reservoir walking through low cold wet clouds, which dropped the temperature down a lot. To avoid more frosty ground conditions with ice, the return leg was moved to follow the A4059 and A470 roads back to Pont ar Daf and back to the start at Storey Arms.
