What a glorious day for a walk it was today for 8 lucky ramblers! We started off from keepers pond going Northeast along the old tramway in bright sunshine and a chill wind. The wind soon dropped and the coats came off as we circled the Blorenge going past the weather station and down to the road. We then took the footpath to the punchbowl for a well-deserved lunch. The walk then continued by circling back at a much lower level along another tramway followed by a stiff climb back up to our start path. The weather had turned chilly by then but the climb kept us nice and warm. We then made our way back to keepers pond. Spectacular views, good company and a great walk thanks to Morfedd made for a great day.
