Damping weather greeted the 14 Merthyr Valley Ramblers (including welcome guests Hannah, Martin, Belinda, Steve and kingsley) at Llanwonno at the start of out 6 mile walk today. From the car park, we used the forestry roads to head up to the ridge between the valleys where we could just about see Penrhys. We paddled cross-country to the entrance of St Gwynno’s forest where we had a cuppa. We then continued to the Daerwynno outdoor centre, pausing only for a photo shoot and a pit stop. We then followed the track to the waterfall where we had lunch and a chat. Lunch over, it was back to the road and up the hill to Dduallt where we followed the track back round to the car park. A nice walk, made much better by the great company. ,Not many piccies cos I was leadering!
