A lovely 7 mile three seasons walk today for 20 Merthyr Valley Ramblers (including welcome visitors Kathy and Helen). Rain on the way had turned to sunshine but we weren’t fooled and stuck to wet-weather gear as we walked the path alongside to A470 to the Garwnant visitor centre. It was then inland for a while then we headed South and had our first cuppa in the woods. We then followed the path westerly to Sycamore grove and lunch, following which we headed east through a slight hailstorm to Nant Sychbant. It was downhill and sunshine all the way from then on, dropping down to the dam and alongside the res back to the start. A big thanks to Hilda for a cracking fresh walk and to all for the great company.
