Well, for once the weather forecast was correct. Sunshine and showers were promised and thats what we got. The thirteen lucky ramblers set off on our 7 mile walk from Pen Y Fan pond in damping weather and headed West to Twyn Simon farm where the sun was shining. We then swung Northwest to Ty’r-Graig where in still dry weather, we had a cuppa. It was then mixed walking heading North until we reached Manmoel where we had lunch next to the play-park. Refreshed, we turned Northeast through Tir y Pentre farm and some more roadwork and then the heavens opened. Fortunately, we were amongst the trees so we had a good opportunity to put the waterproofs on again. It didn’t las long and we were soon on our way Southwards back to the pond.
Thanks to Peter for a great walk and to all for the fantastic company.
