Eight intrepid walkers attended the three mile stroll from Park Taff Bargoed to the Rock Climbing Centre and back today. It was good to see Andrew back in the fold and new friends Vera and Chris made the group complete. Despite the muggy weather, we made a good start and the occasional warm raindrops did nothing to dispel the chat and good humour. We also had experts in plants, insects and birdsong so we learned as we walked. The climbing centre soon came into view and tea, coffee and snacks in the outstanding restaurant were soon consumed. All too soon, it was time to walk back on the other side of the filter beds and back to the carpark. A lovely walk with lovely people, thanks all!
