Today’s walk was a special one for the Merthyr Valley Ramblers - a joint walk with the Gelligaer and Pontypool ramblers. There were actually two walks, a 7 miler and 9.5 mile one, photos are from the latter. Expertly led by Gelligaer walk leader Maldwyn and patient back maker David, we had a mix of fields, woodland, cliffs and beaches all under brilliant sunshine and with fabulous views. The ice cream at the end was a bonus! Thanks to Gwyn for doing all the organising and to the great company, friends old and new.
