Today 15 Merthyr Valley Ramblers had a wonderful walk in memory of our dear friends who left us too soon. We are so grateful for their presence in our lives and their love for nature. We started from St Cynogs Church car park and followed the lane above Pantcefnffordd. We then took the old drovers road and enjoyed the views of the Neath Valley and Moel Penderyn. The highlight of the day was the amazing Sgwd yr Eira waterfall, which was roaring with the recent rain. We were awed by the power and beauty of water. We ended our walk at Penderyn and had some refreshments at the Red Lion. We shared some stories and memories of our beloved friends, who will always be in our hearts.
Thank you to Morfydd for leading this walk and giving a lovely speech. And thank you to all who joined us today. You are all part of our rambling family. If you missed this walk, don’t worry. We have more walks planned for the future. This website has the latest updates and join us for some fun and adventure. We hope to see you soon on our next walk. Stay safe and happy rambling!
