10 Merthyr Valley Ramblers convened at the layby by Pontsticill Reservoir this morning for a damp and misty ramble to Tor y Foel. We made our way up past the Dolygaer Activity Centre and climbed up through Cwm Callan where once through the trees we stopped for our first tea break. We continued on toward Tor y Foel, the mist deprived us of any sort of a view but Simon Williams assured us it was stunning! Once down from the lofty and misty heights we had our lunch break at the foot of Tor y Foel before retracing our path back to the cars. 11 miles in total and although we didn't get the views it was still a great walk with great company, thanks to Simon for leading.
